MAISON ROUGE – MUSÉE DES VALLÉES CÉVENOLES

All the Cévennes in a museum! Why is the chestnut tree called the bread tree, the mulberry tree, the golden tree? An incredible collection of 10,000 objects on display provides insight into the life, know-how and history of the Cévennes.
The man and the objects he made are at the center of the discourse. Like a heritage, the memory of the spinning mill, the oldest to have innovated and the last in operation in France, is enhanced by a deliberately contemporary renovation and extension.

Every Thursday in summer at 6 p.m., free show in the museum grounds.
Every Friday during the holidays, free treasure hunt in the park.
