LA VALLÉE DU TARN (COTATION VERTE)

Ideal for a family bike ride and a swim in the Tarn, this small walk allows you to discover the village of Bédouès and its surroundings. Along the Tarn, this route takes a portion of the path of R.L. Stevenson. The Scottish writer, during his journey with his donkey Modestine, crossed the Cevennes in 1878. A century has passed, it is the turn of the walker to discover the landscapes that inspired his story. MTB course n ° 9. When leaving the car park, turn right towards La Baume. Before La Baume, take the path along the stream (GR70) to reach the subdivision of Azinières. The return is made by the same route. In Bédouès, the circuit goes around the village, then take the direction of Pontèse to reach a track upstream of the Tarn (forth and back).
