The gîte nestles on the edge of the Bougès national forest, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. It is an old forest house with authentic architecture. The interior has been refurbished to provide a comfortable welcome. The facilities available mean you can enjoy a completely self-contained stay, taking full advantage of the peaceful surroundings, disconnected from the world around you and in direct contact with nature. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and mezzanine occupy the southern part of the building, with a large living room opening directly onto an outdoor terrace on the north-east side. Numerous footpaths criss-cross the area, including the GR 70 (Stevenson's path), giving you the chance to leave your car at rest once you've climbed the unpaved track to the gîte. The market town of Pont de Montvert, with all its services, is just a few kilometres away.
