Information
A beautiful loop around the Luech in a fault zone between schist and granite. A circuit with numerous viewpoints on the Luech valley, the impressive Trenze cliff and the surrounding valleys. The highlight will be the Signal de Ventalon where you will be rewarded with an exceptional 360° view of the Mont Lozère, the Cévennes valleys, the Aigoual...and sometimes even the sea or the Alps. Crossing the hamlet of Castagnols, with its remarkable built heritage, and passing through La Planche, where swimming is possible, before returning to Vialas.
A difficult route with a significant difference in altitude. Beware of some slightly technical sections.

Practical Advice
Wearing a helmet is highly recommended. Do not forget your repair kit and a small tool kit. Keep fences and gates closed. Slow down in farms and hamlets.
